Obesity
Weight management involves developing a meaningful way to track one’s weight to achieve the required results. Maintaining an optimum weight is a challenging task for many people. Obesity is an excess proportion of body fat that increases the risk of developing other health problems.
Energy balance plays a crucial role in weight management. We consider other factors such as age, gender, genetics, physical activity, psychological factors, underlying health conditions, and certain medications while developing the diet-plan.
Diabetes :

It is classified into two types: Diabetes mellitus and Type1 diabetes.
Type-1 is insulin-dependent on diabetes mellitus (IDDM), caused by a lack of insulin secretion. Type 2 diabetes non-insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) initially caused by decreased sensitivity to insulin metabolism (insulin resistance).
Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly known as diabetes, is a syndrome of impaired carbohydrates, fats, and protein metabolism caused by either lack of insulin secretion or decreased tissue sensitivity to insulin. Untreated diabetes can lead to many health complications such as hyperosmolar-hyperglycemic state, heart disease, pain/pins and needles in hands or feet (neuropathy), chronic kidney failure, foot ulcers, cognitive impairment, and gastroparesis.
It is a cascade of disorders, often called metabolic syndrome, which includes obesity, mainly accumulation of abdominal fat, fasting hyperglycemia, lipid abnormalities, and hypertension. All metabolic syndrome features are closely related to excess fatty tissue in the abdominal cavity around the visceral organs.
Following a healthy meal plan, regular exercise, and medication is the only solution to maintain a healthy targeted range’s blood glucose level, which is absent in an incorrect diet-plan. Carbohydrates have a crucial effect on maintaining correct blood glucose levels. An optimum intake of carbohydrates and other nutrients is essential to maintain healthy blood glucose levels. The personalised meal plan will help you to select the food items and portion /serving size properly.
